"Good. You seemed sorta spacey." She grinned widely.

Bailey smiled softly, "Just tired.." She said softly and looked at her softly.

She tilted her head to the side slightly as her grin faded a bit. "Well, go on to bed, hun. Sorry for keeping you." She smiled sweetly at her friend.

Bailey smiled softly and looked at her friend, "Good night Rei."

"G'night, darlin'." Rei smiled one last time and then turned and continued back down the hallway to continue her rounds.

Bailey made her way up to the third floor and towards her room, she had a glass of tea and some biscuits when she did though, expecting to not get much sleep. Insomnia was something she suffered from lately and she knew that.

The next morning seemed to take forever to come to those people with insomnia and those people on watch duty.

Bailey made her way down to the great hall for breakfast, cracking her neck slightly, she watched as Belle was getting particulairly close to that new Gryffindor boy she was dancing with.

Snape was sitting at his usual end of the staff table, glowering at everyone, like usual. It didn't look like he had slept very well. Rei, on the other hand, was no where to be seen at this point.

Bailey sat down next to him and tarted loading her plate, "Good morning, Professors.." She said softly.

Snape glanced at her. "Good morning..." He said softly.

"You look terrible.." She said softly, "My guess is you couldn't sleep?"

"No, I could not..." He frowned slightly, sipping at his drink.

Bailey looked straight ahead, "Me either.." She looked at her plate, "I think I'm finished my plate.." She remarked and stood. She made her way out of the great hall, needing some air.

He frowned slightly as she got up and left. Sighing slightly, he stood as well and made his way down to the dungeons.

When he got there, she was there sitting on his desk waiting for him. "Please.."

He raised an eyebrow slightly. "Please what?" He murmured.

Bailey looked at the floor and crossed her legs. "This is getting ridiculous. Just tell me if you want to be with me or not, if not for you or me, then the sake of Belle." She said, flattening her skirt.

"I do." He frowned slightly. "But there is a great risk for both you and Belle if you were to become involved with me again."

"Do you really think I don't know that?" She tilted her head softly, "But she needs a father." She said softly.

"It cannot be made public if we are to be together." He watched her closely.

Bailey blinked softly, "I'm willing to cope with that.." She said softly.

"You cannot tell anyone at all. Not even Belle..." He sighed sadly.

Bailey shook her head, "I won't. I swear." She said softly.

He watched her for a few moments in silence then closed the distance between them and hugged her tightly.
