X-Men! <3

"What d'you smell?" Arti glanced around. The forest around them was oddly quiet.

"I'm not..." Suddenly Bailey rose up and looked to be in pain. She cried out loudly. "What.."

"What's going on?" Arti looked incredibly worried. All of a sudden, Remy's telescoping staff shot out of his hands and disappeared into the trees.

"I..I didn' program dis." Remy swore slightly. Just then, his staff shot out of the woods and caught Arti in the back of the head, knocking her unconscious.

Bailey froze and felt like her body was rejecting the metal, her body jerked softly and she slammed back into a tree, she was just glad the pain of having her adamantium almost out of her body was gone, but it was erased by the pain of a headache forming, she slowly stood on her foot and cracked her neck, now angry.

"'e's jus' toyin' wit' us." Remy scowled slightly as he kneeled next to Arti to check if she was okay.

The staff shot out of the woods again, aiming for Remy but he easily dodged it.

Bailey headed towards the wall and in the bushes, she didn't want to get caught again. "Remy.." She whispered softly, "What kind of powers does he have?"

"'e ca' control any sor' o' metal an' create magnetic fields." Remy stayed crouched near Arti. "I've also heard dae 'e's jus' as smar', if no' smarter, as Prof. X."

"That explains it.." She said with a pained look on her face. How was she going to help if he could control any move her body made?

The staff came shooting out of the woods yet again but this time, for whatever reason, Remy caught it instead of just dodging it. That was a big mistake because it ended up lifting him off the ground and throwing him backwards into a tree, his head cracking against the trunk knocking him unconscious.

"We're going to get our ass kicked.." She said, exitting the trees. "Why don't you show yourself instead of being a coward and smacking people with sticks?"

"I am not trying to be a coward, my dear." He appeared not too far away from her, from behind a rather large tree. "I just wished to speak with you without being overheard."

Bailey looked around, "Me?" She said softly, straining her eyes to be able to see him through the trees. "So speak.." She said, suspiciously.

"Yes, you." He smiled slightly. "I want you to join me, to put it bluntly. I wish for you to come join the Brotherhood. I believe we can help you where Charles cannot."

Bailey raised her eyebrows, "The brotherhood.. I keep hearing that name.." She muttered, "What is it?"

"We are the Brotherhood of Mutants." He paused for a moment and started to pace, not taking his eyes off of her. "We do not like having to hide ourselves just because they fear us."

Bailey watched him, "Well that's obvious, none of us do like that.. But then why aren't you on The Professor's team? He wants to educate the world about us."

"If the humans cannot be persuaded to accept us, then Charles would have everyone just accept it and stay in hiding."

"So he's the brains and you're the brawns?" She raised her eyebrow, "I don't really relish in the fact of joining a group with all the muscle and no thought behind it."

"Oh, my dear, you misunderstand." He smiled slightly. "There has been much thought behind all this and I am sorry that you cannot see it. If you ever grow tired of Charles and his secrets, just leave this place and you will be able to find me." He paused. "But for now, I must bid you farewell. I do believe that Charles has realized that I am here." He bowed slightly to Bailey then turned and vanished amongst the trees. A few moments later, there was an earsplitting noise and the Danger Room's illusion slowly flickered away, to reveal that a large hole had been destroyed in the side of the room.

Bailey tilted her head upward, her eyes wide as she stepped back from the wall that was so easily destroyed. "My god.." She said softly, in shock.

The doors opened and Professor Xavier, Logan, and Scott rushed in. "Logan, Scott, please take these two to the Med Lab." They scooped up the still unconscious Remy and Arty and rushed out with them. "What happened, my dear? Are you alright?"

Bailey looked at Exavier. "He.. I.. thought he was an illusion.. He asked me to join him.. I said no.. He left.." She said softly, looking at the professor. "My god.." She said, her head beating loudly.

Xavier frowned slightly, looking at the hole. "I never thought he would come in here like that. I wonder how he made it in without being detected." He murmured to himself. "Go rest, my dear." He smiled slightly at her.

Bailey smiled, "Thank you Professor.." She said softly, walking out of the danger room, she could hear whispers everywhere.

Scott walked out of the Med Lab just in front of Bailey, sighing slightly. "Oh, Dawn. Remy and Arti both have pretty severe concussions but they're awake. You can go in and talk to them if you want. You could rest up in there too." He smiled wearily.

Logan came out of the Med Lab right behind him and pushed him out of the way, grunting a bit and stalking off down the hall. Scott just frowned slightly after him.
