"My daughter She's my daughter. I don't know why you don't get that.." She said, flushed. "Does it really even matter who her father is?"

"Yes." He stated curtly, his eyes boring into hers.

"Well, if you must know, yes she is yours." She stared right back. "But it matters not now anyway." She said softly.

He frowned slightly, glancing away for a moment. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

"Because I went into hiding, and you were a death eater and those were just the people I was hiding from." She said softly, "Voldemort killed my parents and were after me and my daughter.." She pursed her lips.

He narrowed his eyes then just turned and swooped away.

Bailey followed him and grabbed his hand. "Oh you so don't get to walk away from me. you wanted the truth and you got it." She stated, hand still tightly clasped around his wrist.

"What do you want me to say? That I want to be part of that child's life?" He scoffed, walking towards her deliberately backing her towards the wall.

"I didn't ask you to take part in Belle's life. I've done enough raising.." She backed into a wall and groaned a bit softly. "for the both of us." She glanced at him, "What are you doing?" She said in a shaky tone.

"Then what did you expect me to say?" He scowled, glaring down at her.

She looked up at him, "Do you want her to know or not?" She said calmly, looking up to him. "And you shouldn't be doing this to me.." She blushed softly.

"If she isn't smart enough to figure it out on her own, I'm sure someone else with tact like Miss Maxwell would've pointed out that she looks like me." His eyes narrowed. "It's not a hard conclusion to come to."

Bailey flushed softly and looked at him, "And what happens if she does figure it out. You going to take ten points away from Gryffindor again? Because she's clever. And in many respects, like her father." She said softly, blushing.

"Gryffindor does not need another insufferable know-it-all." He growled.

'But it would be fine if she was in Slytherin? Right. Because that's your house of choice."

"It's better than Gryffindor." He scowled and turned away from her.

"Apparently not.." She said softly, "Since she got chosen for Gryffindor."

He scowled again. "I need to get back to my patrols." He stated curtly before swooping off.

Star walked the other way, shaking her head, before looking over her shoulder and sighing. "You wanted to know, Severus." She said just loud enough for him to hear.

The next day at breakfast, Snape was back to his usual sullen self, taking his seat at the end of the teacher's table and not talking to anyone. Rei, on the other hand, was very animated, chatting with anyone that would stop long enough to listen, which was mostly just Dumbledore.

Star was very quirky, she grew up with muggles for the most part, so she wore mostly muggle clothes, covered by a witches cloak. She always looked elegant and well put together though. She always looked great, amazing, fantastic. She swooped into the hall taking her seat and smiled. "Good morning Rei."

"Mornin'." She grinned. Rei was normally mistaken for a Muggle-born or at least a halfblood because she preferred Muggle clothing and other such things. She had an oddly boyish figure which she 'accented' by wearing boy's cargo pants and a slightly wrinkled button up shirt. She didn't even bother wearing a cloak or robes over it.

"How was your night?" She grinned softly.

"Alright." Rei shrugged slightly. "Detention with that Weasley boy was...interesting. And sorta irritating." She frowned a bit.

"Uh huh.." She said, grinning gently. "Hew's kinda cute.." She teased and then she sat back.
