"Then he shouldn't say we're safe. He knows not of what he speaks."

"He's an idiot." He stated simply.

Bailey shrugged softly, "He's a kid. He shouldn't be in that lifestyle anyways." She said softly.

"Some people don't have a choice." He sighed slightly. "He's better off than a lot of others around here."

"That doesn't mean I have to like it."

"There's not much we can do about it though." He shrugged.

"Yes, well. Becoming a mother has my sense of morality, too." She said softly, leaning on the counter.

"Well, what would you do about it?" He leaned against the counter across from her.

"Invite him to stay with us? I'm not sure but that boy should be having a family."

"So, you want to adopt him?" He frowned slightly.

"No, not adopt, just let him stay wqith us, have him be a part of the family, with the routines and school and everything else."

"Ah." He paused for a moment, obviously thinking. "Well, if you want to then go for it."

Bailey shook her head, "No, he won't, not after the way I freaked out at him."

"You'll never know unless you try." He shrugged slightly.

Bailey stayed quiet and contemplative for a minute. "Yeah, for sure." She shrugged softly.

"So are you gonna go try to talk to him?" He watched her carefully.

"Tomorrow, probably." She closed her eyes softly.

"Okay." Quickly closing the distance between them, he pulled her into a hug. "D'you want me to go with you?"

Bailey leaned her head on his shoulder, "Maybe, we'll see.." She yawned softly.

He kissed her forehead gently. "Okay..."

"I'm sorry for this.." She said softly. "Sometimes I just.." She rubbed her forehead.

"What's there to be sorry about?" He grinned slightly.

"Telling you I didn't love you.'

"No big deal." He shrugged slightly. "I could tell you weren't serious about it."

Bailey frowned softly, "I love you, GraveRobber." She murmured, kissing his lips, then his cheek, then slowly down his neck.
