She shrugged, staring out the window, "Will... you be okay here?" She said softly, glancing at Rei.

"What d'you mean by that?" She watched Bailey carefully.

"I'm going outside for a smoke, unless you want to come.." She stated softly, looking in Rei's eyes.

"You can smoke in here." Rei smiled slightly.

Bailey sat down on the bed and lit up, handing Rei a smoke and a lighter, taking a drag from the smoke. "I guess I can."

Rei took the smoke and it flared to life. "Don't need a lighter, yanno." She smiled slightly before taking a deep drag.

Bailey shrugged softly, "Fair enough.." She said softly, looking at the bed. "I don't hate you, Rei."

"And I don't think you're a home-wrecking slut." She smirked slightly.

Bailey raised her eyebrow, "You heard that, did you?"

"The walls aren't soundproof." She smiled. "And I had left the door open."

She nodded softly, blowing out the smoke. "I love you Rei.."

Rei paused for a long moment, taking a deep drag and slowly blowing it out at the ceiling. "I love you too." She murmured.

"Aha. You totally had to think about that.." She poked at Rei's leg. Shaking her head she yawned softly.

"Nah." She smiled slightly. "I had to think 'bout whether I wanted to say it out loud or not."

Bailey winked and leaned in and kissed her cheek, "I'll leave you alone.."

Rei paused for a bit. "You don't have to."

Bailey looked at her, "I just want to know if we're okay or not.." She looked down softly, "Rei, I can't save my daughter on my own, and it would mean a huge deal to me if you'd be there, fighting beside me."

Rei sighed and looked down. "We're fine. I just can't stay." She paused for a moment, frowned slightly, then reached back, grabbing the medical eye patch off of her bedside table and slipping it over her injured eye in one movement. "Of course I'm going with you. I gotta make sure to kill her properly this time." She grinned lopsidedly.

"Why can't you stay?" She frowned softly, "Please stay.. I want you too. If need be I'll go, Rei. It tears him apart when you are gone."

"It hurts him more when you leave." She sighed. "I mean I ain't leaving for good. I'm going back to the warehouse." She smiled slightly. "I just...I don't think your kid should be raised around my kind of crazy..."

Bailey looked at her softly, "You'd be a great Aunty Rei.." She said softly, "I wanted you to be here every step of the way.. I want you to help, this is our child, all three of us.. Not just GraveRobber's and mine."

"That kid shouldn't be exposed to someone like me. I'm an ex-prostitute, drug addict that curses like a sailor and smokes so much that I wouldn't be surprised if my lungs shriveled up and fell off tomorrow. I've killed more people than I can count and if someone makes me mad, I'm libel to just set them on fire. And...I'd just be jealous and resent her." She sighed.

Bailey sighed gently, "Rei, you're her mom too." She tilted her head gently.

"No, I'm not." She raised an eyebrow. "There are none of my genes in that girl. I really had no part in making her."

"To hell with that, you were half the reason I slept with anybody." She nudges her.
