X-Men! <3

Bailey opened her eyes slightly, the scars healing from being electrocuted. She slowly sat up and grabbed the remote, turning the electric fence off and shattered the controller, "Comon.." She whispered, "And someone take out that camera!"

With a flick of Arti's hand, the camera combusted. "C'mon." She quickly ushered the other students after Bailey.

Bailey picked up a small redhead, she was only about 6 or so and made her way out, trying to use as many back ways as she could.

As they were about halfway out of the facilities, they heard an explosion up the hallway. Arti stopped and stepped in front of the students so that she was inbetween them and the explosion. A few moments later, Logan and Remy slid around the corner.

"There you are." Logan growled slightly. He paused for a moment, listening to the area around them, then turned and headed back down the hallway.

"C'mon." Remy grabbed Arti's hand, scooped up one of the younger girls and hurried off after Logan.

Bailey ran ahead with Logan, "Boy. being Electrocuted felt like ass." She muttered, bolting forward, but then her ears picked up on something and she stopped in her tracks, voices ahead, yelling screaming voices.

Remy and Arti nearly ran into the back of Bailey when she stopped. "What is it?"

"Voices.." She backed up, "Go through that tunnel!" She whispered and pointed down it, "Logan, go with them, I'll take care of the guards."

Arti hurried down the tunnel with the students. Logan stayed firmly planted in the center of the hall. "No." He growled. "You go with them."

"C'mon." Remy motioned for her to go on through the tunnel. "You're in no shape t'be fightin', beb. Ya were jus' electrocuted."

Bailey looked at Remy, "I'll be fine, instant healing, remember?" She glared at Logan and made her way down the hall to which she could hear the voices from.

Logan grabbed her, rather roughly. "No. You are one of our priorities. So get out." He growled. Remy just rolled his eyes and, with a well aimed flick of a few of his charged cards, the corridor in front of them collapsed in on itself.

"T'ere. Problem solve'." He frowned slightly. "Now bot' o'ya, c'mon."

Bailey glared at Logan, "You're not my father." She muttered rather dangerously. As they made their way out of the tunnel, her eyes adjusted to the light, there was the X-Men jet and as she piled the children on and did up their seatbelts.

"I'm not tryin' to be. You're our charges though so it's our job to protect you. Not let you go runnin' off into battle whenever you want." Logan growled, apparently unfazed by Bailey's glares.

The rest of the X-Men were already in the jet once that group had gotten there. There were a lot of students already strapped in.

Bailey crossed her arm gently, "Excuse me. Incase you don't know,n I've been 17 for years, probably around the same age as you." She hissed, "You think I'm just a kid, don't you?"

"Just because you've been alive for however long doesn't mean a damned thing. You've been in a coma. You don't got anywhere near the experience we've got." He growled. "And even though you say you've been alive just a long as I have, which I doubt, you act like you're still 17. Runnin' off in there, tryin' to be a hero. Nah, I don't think you're just a kid, but I'll be damned if you don't act like one."

"Logan!" Scott, who had been sitting in one of the frost seats along with Ororo, Jean, and Rouge, had jumped up by this point and yanked Logan back. "You're our of line. Sit down." Logan just glared at him but didn't say a word. He just flopped himself into one of the open front seats.

When they got back to the mansion, Bailey was the first one off the jet and in the house, she walked to her bedroom and hurriedly packed, her body jerking stuff into her dufflebag.

"What're you doing?" Arti, Remy, and a few of the student that they had saved had followed Bailey up to her room.

"Don' le' him ge' t'ya. He's a couyon vieux anyways." Remy shrugged.

"I'm leaving, I don't belong here. The one person that I thought would understand me.." She breathed deeply. "You'll get your shirt back Arti. And I'll call.. so you all know I'm alright." She looked at the students and Arti.

"You do belong here!" Arti grabbed her friend's hands. "Don't let him make you feel like you don't." All the other students started to crowd around Bailey, hugging her and begging her not to leave.

Bailey blinked softly, "Alright, ALRIGHT. I won't leave.." She said, looking at Arti. "I do, however, need time to think." She said, looking down. "I'll see you later."

Arti grabbed her friend's bag and smiled slightly. "That's fine. Just don't go running away on us."

Bailey shook her head and made her way onto the grounds, walking through them and looking at the fountain, sitting by it. She put her head in her hands and sighed softly.

Arti frowned slightly, apparently very worried about her friend. "Don' worry yerself too much, bebette." Remy came up from behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her tightly. "So, dis is yer room, eh?" He grinned.

Out on the grounds, there was quite a few students seeing as it was the middle of the day. They were all going to and from class and a few were just lounging about.

Bailey was approached by Rogue. "He had no right to say what he did to you.. You were just trying to help.." She said softly.

Ororo wasn't too far behind Rouge. "He did have a point though." She smiled weakly. "Although he did have no right to speak to you like he did. He does not react well to worry."

Bailey blinked, "He didn't have a point, I had no idea of knowing if you guys knew where we were going or not and they were about to kill all of us when I jumped through the electric shield. I knew I could heel really fast, so I did it." She said softly.

Rogue looked at Storm, "She saved us all, we were just minutes from being electrocuted."
