Repo! The Genetic Opera

Serenity smiled, "Oh.. Okay.." She opened the door, licking her lips. "Mommy, you're guests have arrived!"

Rei came in followed closely by the young man from earlier. "Hey darlin'." She grinned widely. "Sorry 'bout the kid. You can just tell him to 'eff off. I couldn't get him to stop following me.

Bailey shrugged, "I made lots of lasagna, anyway.." She tossed her hair back and hugged Rei. "Whats your name, young man?"

"Ooh." Rei grinned as she hugged Bailey. "I always loved your lasagna." She winked.

"Um..." The boy looked rather surprised to be actually allowed to stay. "I'm Eric." He frowned slightly. "And I'm not that young...."

Bailey smiled softly, "Have a seat Eric, do you want something to drink, a soft drink?"

"Um...sure." He grinned. "No hard feelings 'bout earlier, right? She just told me to not tell anyone where she was."

Bailey handed him a can of pepsi, "Right.." She said softly, "GraveRobber should be down any minute." She said softly.

"Well, speak of the devil." Rei murmured as GraveRobber entered, still slightly damp.

Bailey smiled and shook her head as Serenity watched this interaction while setting the table. "Eric, come have a seat for dinner."

GraveRobber flopped down at his usual seat at the table, eying Eric a bit. "What's he doing here?"

"He's like a lost puppy or something. Won't leave me alone." Rei shrugged slightly, taking a seat as far away from GaveRobber as she could manage.

"You always did attract a lot of those sorts." He teased a bit. Eric frowned a bit but took a seat next to Rei.

Bailey started serving them and poured some wine for GraveRobber and Rei and herself, while Eric and Serenity got fruit juice in wine glasses. "Dig in you guys, there's plenty."

Eric grinned widely as he dug in. They all ate in silence for a while.

Serenity was holding up her fork with a piece of lasagna on it and she sighed dramatically, "Mommy. Cheese is weird.." She said, poking at it.

"Cheese is amazing." Rei watched the girl a bit. "What's wrong with it?"

Serenity looked at her, "It tastes great, it just looks weird.. Scientifically speaking..." She said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Rei frowned slightly. "Loads of things looks weird, scientifically speaking."

Bailey harbored a smile, "Serenity.. I think it's bath time, if you're done your dinner.." She said softly, pushing her plate back.

Serenity nodded softly and pushed her plate back, "Okay mommy." She said and stood up.

Rei just shrugged slightly as she finished her food.

Bailey rolled her eyes gently at Serenity and led her upstairs, about an hour or so later, she came back down. "Sorry, she can be a bit abrasive."

Rei just shrugged slightly. Both her and Eric were lounging on the couch, Rei sitting as far away from Eric as she could manage without him noticing, and GraveRobber was lounging in an armchair nearby.

"How did you guys like dinner?" She said, making her way to the table to gather up all the dirty dishes.

"It was great!" Eric beamed. "She never cooks like this." Rei just glared at him slightly.

"I already cleared the table." GraveRobber spoke up.

"Oh, well thanks. Makes my job easier.." She sat down on the floor infront of the coffee table.

"No problem, hun." GraveRobber grinned and winked at her.

"Would anyone like more wine?" She smiled softly, brandishing the wine bottle.
