X-Men! <3

Bailey let her spikes go and she watched the dimly lit alleyway, very carefully.

Not too long later, a couple of mutants that neither of them recognized showed themselves. They were all dispatched of rather quickly and then an eerie silence set in. "Hn...there must still be something left to get rid of..." Arti murmured quietly. She trailed off slightly as the sound of soft footsteps surrounded them and drew closer. "They're coming from both sides." She warned, even though she knew Bailey heard them before she did. She kept glancing back and forth between the two figures as they drew closer on either side of them. Finally, she was able to see the figures a bit more clearly and started slightly in surprise. The two mutants closing in on the two were none other than Gambit and Wolverine.

Bailey was shocked and started to fight back. "What the heck?" She said, upper cutting Logan.

"It's like this thing knows just who I wanna hit right now..." Arti murmured as she deflected a few of Gambit's well-aimed charged cards with a few well-aimed fireballs of her own.

Wolverine didn't seem fazed in the slightest by Bailey's uppercut and aimed a few quick slices at her.

Bailey jumped back, "Pretty bad Wolvie." She said, slicing his arm and she grinned, tilting her head backwards.

Wolverine didn't even slow down. He slices came quicker and with more ferocity.

Arti took to the air, staying about six feet above Gambit's head, throwing a few more fireballs down at him and dodging his charged cards.

Bailey got behind him, slicing at his back as she kicked him in the face with such ferocious kick tjhat he went flying backwards.

He stumbled slightly and then took a moment to straighten himself as his healing factor set in.

A well thrown fiery explosion threw Gambit down the alley quite a bit.

Bailey growled softly and watched as her arm instant healed and she sat back, content to sit there for awhile.

Wolverine paused for a long moment, just studying her, before quickly lunging forward to stab at her midsection.

Arti landed, basically straddling the fake Gambit, and just started punching him.

Bailey made the spikes known, but it was too late and she got Wolverine's right to the chest, she gasped in pain, her body twitching.

One of her spikes went straight through his throat and the illusion slowly faded around them, leaving Arti kneeling on the floor, shaking slightly.

Bailey instantly healed and walked over to Arti, trying to pick her up. "You okay?" She muttered, sighing gently.

"I'm fine." She murmured, as she stood and just walked out of the Danger Room, stopping suddenly when she noticed Remy leaning against the wall across the hall from where she stood. They just locked gazes for a moment or two but after a bit, Remy couldn't hold her gaze anymore for whatever reason and looked down. Arti just sighed sadly, turned, and walked away down the hall.

Bailey walked out after Arti, giving Remy the death glare as she passed and sighed gently.

"You okay?" Arti slowed slightly as she heard her friend coming up behind her and smiled slightly at her.

"Annoyed." She muttered softly, "I'm going to head to bed though.."

"What're you annoyed for?" Arti frowned slightly. "I dunno if I'll be able to sleep tonight." She murmured quietly.

"Boys.. Boys.. Men.. Piss me off." She growled softly.

"Yeah, they do that." Arti agreed, nodding slightly. "Why d'you say that now though?"

Bailey sighed, "Just annoyed at Logan." She rubbed her temple, "And this headache is killing me."

"Oh." Her eyes fell to the ground and she paused for a moment. "Why don't you take something for it?"

"I just might.." She sighed, "I'm going to go have a hot shower." She said, entering her room, "See you later.." She closed the door to her room and took a hot shower, when she was out, she got dressed and pulled her hair upwards into a pony tail, before walking out towards living room area.

Arti was laying on her bed, apparently asleep, when Bailey got out of the shower. Down in the living room area, there weren't too many people still awake. Remy was lounging on a couch by himself and Logan was dozing in an armchair.

Bailey sat on the arm of the couch, trying to quietly watch TV, her body lithe and silent. She crossed her legs softly and watching the tv, she sipped on a glass of some chocolate milk.
