Phantom of the Opera.

"Oh wow." Rei looked around the shop in awe. She started rifling through the dresses.

Bailey had changed into a red dress and came out, looking in the mirror. "What do you think?"

Rei grinned widely. "Gorgeous." She grabbed a black and red dress she had been looking at and went to try it on. "What d'you think about this?" She came out a few moments later.

"It's cute. If you want to wear it." She grinned softly, shaking her head.

"I like it." She stuck her tongue out playfully and went back into the changing room to change back.

"I said it looks cute!" She laughed softly.

"I know." She reemerged a few moments later in her normal clothes with the dress of choice slung over her arm. "You gonna get that red one?" She grinned as she went to pay.

Bailey pulled out her wallet, "Maybe a less expensive one, I still have to buy Erika's.." She said and then pulled open her wallet, "What..?" She frowned, "I've got an extra 600 dollars in here.." Her face screwed up in confusion.

Rei frowned slightly. "I would say you just forgot that that was in there but it's sorta hard to forget about $600."

Bailey blinked, "I guess.. I'm getting the dress and all of Erika's stuff." She shrugged softly, walking up to the counter, paying for it.

Rei had already paid for her stuff and stood there waiting for Bailey in silence, obviously thinking about something.

Bailey had made her way to a grocery store, "What are you thinking about?" She said, pushing the stroller. She smiled softly, "I know that look, that is the look that says I'm lost in thought."

Rei smiled slightly. "I'm just wondering what happened to Curtis."

Bailey sighed gently and shook her head, the whole total including clothing and toys for Erika came out to be about 600 dollars. Bailey smiled, "Well that was conveniant."

Rei sighed slightly. "Very."

"I know what happened to Curtis.." She said softly, sitting on a bench, looking down.

Rei sat down next to her. "I sorta figured you did. Before y'all vanished he told me that your families were close." She frowned slightly. "So what happened to him?"

"He came and kidnapped me from my mother, nursed me back to health, helped me off all of the medications I was on, we stayed there for two years..." She sighed, "Then I came back and he said he would be back by the end of this term, he had other things to deal with... So he should be here soon."

"Hn." Rei leaned back a bit, staring up at the sky. "Wonder why he didn't say anything to me about that..."

"As far as I could tell.. It was because you refused to be anywhere near me at the time and he didn't want to worry you.." She pulled down the sleeves on her sweater.

"I was gonna go talk to you the next day but you had left already." Rei frowned.

"More like my mother dragged me out by my hair."

Rei smiled slightly. "I'm sorry 'bout everything I said."

Bailey shook her head, "Don't worry about it, it was so wrong of me to do.." She said, crossing her legs, she pulled Rei up and got in the car, strapping Erika into her carseat and driving towards the school when she got there, she pulled Erika out of her seat, pulling her dress out in the plastic. "Well that was a productive day.." She said, entering the school.

Erika started to fuss right away, quickly starting to cry.

"Not again, Erika!" She whisper-yelled and then put the dress down on the floor, sitting down with Erika and rocking her. "Sorry Rei, you can go on, this'll only take a second."

"You sure?" Rei raised an eyebrow slightly. "I don't mind helping out."
