Phantom of the Opera.

"With enough practice and determination, anyone can do anything." The voice echoed a bit more softly this time.

Bailey kicked her legs, similar to what a little kid would do. He was right, but she felt as if she was drowning in a sea of talent. She was afraid she wouldn't have the determination and that thought scared her.

The voice didn't speak again for a few moments. "There are quite a few things to get you determinated, if that is what you are lacking."

Bailey shivered, "Yeah? Like what?" She blinked and pulled her knees up to her chest, lying her head on her knees.

"Well, for one, you will not see that Rei girl again and you seem rather attached to her already."

She tilted her head upwards, "Excuse me?" She stated, crossing her arms, "I think you're blackmailing me now. What happened to.. "With enough determination you can do anythinggg!" She tsked and crossed her arms, "Besides, Rei and I share a dorm room. What are you going to do, kidnap me and make me good at dancing?"

"No, I am not trying to blackmail you. I would think that keeping a friend that you are so attached to would be enough determination."

Bailey blinked, "So if I don't learn to dance.. I won't ever get to see Rei again? I don't understand that..." She stated softly, tilting her head, when she started to feel faint, she reached into her pocket, downing two bills from a little black bottle quickly, almost in a panicky motion.

"Well, if you loose your scholarship, you will have to leave. And if I am not mistaken you originally live in Canada. Rei lives in the southern United States and I am not even sure if she plans to go back after she is done here."

Bailey blinked, glancing up. "How do you know where I live or where she lives?" She narrowed her eyes softly. "Tell me that and then I'll leave you be.."

"I listen. And I looked up your student files after that trespassing ordeal."

Bailey nodded, "Fair enough.. And we weren't trespassing.." She lied on the stage and shut her eyes, letting the stage light bathe her in light. "I'm nervous."

"You were trespassing." The voice stated simply and didn't say anything else.

Bailey had sighed softly, "We were just curious.." She muttered softly, nibbling on her lip. "Besides.. You were a curious child once too.."

"Curiosity excuses nothing."

"Curiosity killed the cat.." She smiled softly, "Though, I'm sorta glad you had that lapse in judgment." She said softly. "After all. I couldn't sing if I was dead.. Now could I?"

"You are not a cat though."

"Which is why you didn't kill me, by that logic.. I've read what you can do with a Punjabi noose.." She said calmly. "You should teach me. How to dance, that is.."

"I am a trained assassin." He paused for a moment. "I am not well trained in dancing though. You would be better off practicing with Rei."

"If I ever need to be trained in the ways of being an assassin, I'll look you up.." She said softly, yawning. "Hopefully Rei gets the part of the Phantom. I'd like that.."

"I can arrange it. Though compared to the people I have seen that want the part so far, she is the best suited."

"Yeah.. And she has an amazing voice.." She said, smiling slightly. "I don't even know what that kiss was.. I'll have to talk it out with her.."

"I was referring to her voice."

Bailey coughed slightly and stood. She heard music and looked at her ipod which was ironically playing "I kissed a girl" at high volumes. Bailey blushed and quickly switched it off.

"Nervous much?"
