Phantom of the Opera.

He paused for a moment and frowned slightly. "Well, that was an option." He shrugged a bit.

"Actually, it wasn't. I wasn't permitted outside my house, I was drugged.. Curtis didn't take me away until too far into my pregnancy.. and that was never really an option to me."

He shrugged slightly. "She might not have known that."

Bailey looked at Erika, who was nestled in her arms gently. "I think that it's still really rude of her to say that."

"I do not know her very well at all, in fact I cannot stand her, but I know she has always spoken her mind. I thought that was something you liked about her." He watched her carefully.

"When it's not about my me aborting my daughter, sure.." She said softly, "I love my daughter.. and sometimes.. Even if I wish my life was different.. I am happy with my life, for the most part."

"I doubt she meant to offend." He sat down near her. "And I can tell she loves your daughter."

She stood and placed Erika in Erik's bed and then sat down next to him, looking down. "I'm such a freak.." She said, placing her hand on her forehead. "I'm a complete mess... I'm always upset.."

"You are not a freak." He frowned slightly.

Bailey placed her head in her hands gently. "It seems like it."

"What makes you think that you are a freak?"

"I'm just a broken woman.." She said softly, curling up in a defensive movement. "I just.. Everything.. Went so wrong after I left.."

"You are not broken." He rubbed her back gently. "You have kept going. You have not given up and that makes you even stronger."

Bailey looked up softly, "But I've wanted to give it all up..."

"But you have not given up. And that proves that you are much stronger than you think."

Bailey shook, "It doesn't feel like it, a lot of the time.."

"I know." He paused for a moment. "You are one of the strongest people I have ever met."

Bailey looked up at him gently, contemplating whether or not to kiss him.

He glanced at her slightly for a moment and then paused. He then leaned over and kissed her chastely and gently.

Bailey was so shocked, but she leaned in, kissing him back softly. She didn't want to be pushy or.. scare him away.

He broke the kiss after a few moments and pulled back, smiling slightly.

Bailey opened her eyes slightly, blushing. "Wow.." She said softly, grinning. "What was that for and will there be any more of those? You almost made my heart go in a tizzy..."

Erik just smiled slightly and stood. "There might be more..."

Bailey stood with him and looked around slightly, "I have a present for you.. I've been waiting to give it to you.. and now is the right time, I think."

He frowned slightly. "What is it?"
